Welcome to BCAM. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your installation and use of BCAM – Background Video Recorder (“App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not install or use the App.

1. License

2tDev grants you a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use BCAM on any Android device that you own or control, subject to these Terms.

2. User Responsibilities

  • Compliance: You agree to use BCAM in full compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

  • Privacy Respect: You must not record or distribute content that violates others’ privacy or rights.

  • Permissions: You are responsible for granting and managing permissions (Camera, Microphone, Storage, Notifications, Device Admin) required by BCAM. Denial of these permissions may disable certain features.

3. Feature Usage & Limitations

  • Background & Scheduled Recording: You control when recording starts and stops. BCAM will stop recording if your battery falls below 2% or storage is critically low.

  • Intruder Detection & Audible Alerts: When enabled, BCAM uses Device Admin permission to detect failed unlock attempts, take selfies, and trigger alarms. All data remains on your device.

  • No Server Storage: Recorded videos and unlock logs are stored locally or in your chosen cloud service (e.g., Google Drive/Dropbox). 2tDev does not upload, access, or share your recordings.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use BCAM for unlawful surveillance or harassment.

  • Modify, decompile, or reverse‑engineer the App.

  • Distribute or sublicense the App or its components to third parties.

  • Circumvent any security or privacy controls built into the App.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 2tDev and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

  • Any loss of data, profits, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of BCAM.

  • Malfunction or corruption of recorded files due to device errors.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

BCAM is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. 2tDev disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 2tDev and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

8. Changes to Terms

2tDev may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country of residence or, if unspecified, the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
